As of the 31st of March over 1300 exhibits have been entered, entries for the the 2013 Cumbria Steam Gathering are now closed.

The Junior tractor driver training course will take place over Friday July 26th & Saturday 27th. This is offered to 13 to 16 year olds at a subsidised cost of £40.00 per delegate. The course covers all aspects of safe operation as identified in a recent HSE publication "Tractor Action". A multi - choice question paper will be completed which will be discussed with the course instructor. Candidates who have successfully completed the training course will be presented with a certificate of competence during the presentation of the awards in the main arena on the afternoon of Sunday July 28th. In order for all the delegates to receive the appropriate amount of instruction, course numbers are limited to 8 participants. As of February 22nd this course is now fully booked for 2013.
